Overview
This Cookies Policy explains how Construction Junk Removal, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Construction Junk Removal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), may use cookies and similar technologies on ConstructionJunkRemoval.com (the “Site”).
This Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Our goal is simple: the cookie disclosure should describe the technology the Site actually uses. We do not want to deploy a generic consent banner or publish a list of advertising technologies that are not actually present.
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file or similar data object that a website or related service may store or read through a browser or device.
Websites may also use technologies such as:
- local storage;
- session storage;
- pixels or tags;
- software-development or analytics identifiers;
- server logs;
- device or browser identifiers;
- similar technologies that store, retrieve, or transmit information.
For convenience, this Policy refers to these technologies collectively as “cookies and similar technologies.”
2. Why the Site May Use Cookies or Similar Technologies
Depending on the Site's deployed configuration, these technologies may be used for the following purposes.
Strictly necessary and security
These technologies may support functions such as:
- delivering Site pages;
- routing requests;
- maintaining security;
- detecting abuse;
- preventing malicious traffic;
- balancing traffic;
- preserving session state where technically necessary;
- maintaining deployment or infrastructure integrity.
Some essential technology may be set by hosting, security, or infrastructure providers.
Functionality and preferences
Where implemented, these technologies may remember choices or support features requested by a visitor.
Performance and diagnostics
Where implemented, performance technologies may help identify:
- slow pages;
- failed resources;
- browser errors;
- device or browser compatibility issues;
- deployment problems;
- aggregate Site-performance patterns.
Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor affirmatively allows optional analytics. It measures visits and aggregate Site interactions. The current implementation does not enable Google Ads, remarketing, advertising personalization, Google Signals advertising features, cross-domain measurement, or User-ID, and does not intentionally send names, contact details, project details, SMS content, photographs, or privacy-request content to Google Analytics.
Advertising or cross-site tracking
As of the Effective Date, this policy does not authorize the deployment of advertising cookies, cross-context behavioral advertising, or sale/sharing technologies merely because this page exists.
If the Site later deploys advertising, retargeting, or other technology that creates an applicable consent or opt-out obligation, this Policy and the Site's controls must be updated before or at the time that technology is activated.
3. Current Cookie Inventory
The current Site uses the following browser-side storage:
- cjr.analytics-consent.v1 — first-party local storage used to remember whether a visitor allowed or declined optional analytics. It remains until the visitor changes the choice or clears browser storage. It is a preference record, not an advertising or analytics identifier.
- _ga — first-party Google Analytics cookie used to distinguish users after analytics is allowed. Google documents a default expiration of two years.
- _ga_<container-id> — first-party Google Analytics cookie used to persist session state after analytics is allowed. Google documents a default expiration of two years.
Before a visitor allows analytics, this implementation does not load the Google Analytics script or send analytics requests. If analytics is declined, the Site disables the configured Google Analytics property and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. Hosting and security providers may still process ordinary request logs and infrastructure data without using these optional browser analytics cookies.
4. Your Browser Controls
Most browsers allow users to:
- view stored cookies;
- delete cookies;
- block some or all cookies;
- restrict third-party cookies;
- configure site-specific permissions.
Blocking essential technologies may affect Site functionality.
Browser controls vary by browser and device. Refer to the documentation supplied by your browser or device provider.
5. Consent and Preference Controls
Whether a cookie-consent mechanism is legally required depends on the technologies actually used, the visitor's jurisdiction, and the purposes for which information is processed.
Construction Junk Removal should not deploy a consent banner merely for appearance.
If non-essential technologies requiring consent are introduced, the Site should provide an appropriate consent interface before those technologies are activated where required by law.
If technologies subject to opt-out rights are introduced, the Site should implement legally appropriate opt-out mechanisms, including recognition of applicable browser-based opt-out preference signals where required.
6. Global Privacy Control and Similar Signals
Some browsers or extensions can transmit an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”).
Where applicable law requires Construction Junk Removal to recognize such a signal for the technology and processing at issue, the production implementation should honor it as required.
This Policy does not claim that a particular signal has been technically processed unless the production Site has been tested and verified to do so.
7. Third-Party Technologies
Hosting, security, communications, maps, media, analytics, or other third-party features may independently use cookies or similar technologies when those services are embedded or activated.
We should evaluate third-party technology before deployment and avoid adding unnecessary trackers.
A link to an external website generally does not mean that the external site's cookies are set on ConstructionJunkRemoval.com; however, embedded third-party content may behave differently.
8. Do Not Sell or Share
As of the Effective Date, Construction Junk Removal does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not intentionally share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for additional information and rights that may apply.
9. Changes to This Cookies Policy
We may update this Policy when the Site's technology, vendors, legal obligations, or cookie practices materially change.
The “Last Updated” date should reflect a real review or substantive change.
10. Questions and Requests
For privacy questions or legally applicable requests concerning cookies or similar technologies, use the privacy-request mechanism provided through ConstructionJunkRemoval.com.
